He used bamboo to make kites. In the Eastern Han dynasty( 东汉王朝 ), Cai Lun found a new way to make paper. Then people began to use paper to make kites. In the 13th century( 十三世纪 ) , Marco Polo, an Italian man, visited China. He told people in the West all about kites.
