Comments from the candidates Most useful part of the day 1 Viva practice. Exam lecture (Jo Jones) Sim man, graphs and figures. OSCE session. Simulated OSCE's and simulated critical incidents. Whole day was a great experience and very useful practicing Least useful: Sim lecture. Lecture on critical incident OSCES. Anatomy lecture - too much and too fast to follow.

Comments from the candidates Most stressful OSCE Machine check. Radiology. communication. Anatomy airway triage. X-rays. Malignant hyperthermia. AAA communication station. ALS and communications. Sympathetic nerve anatomy.. Autonomic nervous system anatomy.

Comments from the candidates Excellent use of time and resources, I went to the xxx course 2 years ago and this was by far the superior to that in terms of cost -. Input from senior anaesthetics - realistic representation of exams - building confidence – feedback. Excellent Viva's, OSCE. Examiners - please do not be kind to us and treat us how examiners at the college would!. OSCE stations very useful and worked in small groups. The anatomy lecture was good but would be better split into half. More simulated OSCE's please. Well run and organised, good value for money.

Comments from the candidates Anatomy handouts and pictures would be helpful. Graph session very useful and good. Did faculty get questions beforehand? As some of the questions/answers seemed to take them by surprise/did not know explanations. Group OSCES were very useful but a bit too friendly! Would they be more useful if in more of exam

Comments from the candidates Prior prep and time management (5 minute per viva question) would be a better "Mock" and more beneficial I found it very difficult to concentrate on an anatomy lecture at the end of a long day!. Catering excellent though would have been nice to have some water at the stations Many thanks indeed for your extremely informative Primary OSCE/SOE course
