4. car A form of transportation that has an engine and 4 wheels. This car goes very fast. Watch out for the car!

5. walk Means how we move our body by putting one foot in front of the other. The people can walk a long way. I wish I could walk, but I don’t have legs!

6. hear To use your ears to sense something. The alligator can hear the crowd cheer for him! Speak up, because I can’t hear you.

7. learn To get knowledge of a subject. We go to school to learn many things. I can learn with a computer, too!

8. would She would love to open this gift now. Would you show this person some empathy?

9. rust The reddish-brown coating formed on iron or steel when left out in the sun & weather. This car has lot of rust. How do you get rid of this rust?

10. gulls Another name for seagulls which are birds near the water. These gulls are standing near the water. Here are the gulls from the movie Finding Nemo.

11. strut To walk in a swaggering manner. He can strut to work. This lion can strut with a smile!

12. scrub To clean something. This boy can scrub on his knees! She can scrub with rubber gloves.

13. path A small trail worn by footprints. Look at this winding path! We stopped by the edge of the path to take a picture.

21. scraps Small bits of leftover food that usually gets thrown in the trash. Look at all these scraps in the trash. Let’s wrap these scraps to give to the animals.
