13 Systems Theory Relationships are huge factors in psychological health. Problems often arise because of the way members of a system interact (or fail to interact) with each other. While attention is paid to the problem that brought someone intro treatment, one must look at the system(s) they are involved in. Specific attention is paid to communication, assertiveness, conflict and time spent together.
