5 Why is God’s gift of a good name so important? Proverbs 22:1 Proverbs 11:9 Proverbs 16:28 God’s gift of a good name is important because it determines whether a person will be respected and trusted or not..

6 How do people ruin the good name God gave to others? Psalm 109:2 Proverbs 11:13 Proverbs 17:9 People ruin the good name God gave to others by lying about them, betraying their secrets, or gossiping about them.

7 How does God want us to help others keep their good name? 1 Samuel 20:30-32 1 Samuel 19:1-6 1 Corinthians 13:5-7 / Proverbs 10:12 Matthew 18:15 God wants me defend their good name and do whatever I can to help them keep their good name if they do something wrong.

8 God’s Word and My Life Agree or disagree? It's impossible to break this commandment if you just keep your mouth shut. John said to his pastor, “Pastor, Mrs. Jones is always saying bad things about others. Will you come with me to talk to her about it.” What does his pastor say?

18 How does God want us to view the gift of a good name? God wants me to view his gift of a good name as so important that I never do anything to ruin another person’s good name but rather do every loving thing I can to help him keep it.
