2 What is Peninsula SunShares? A limited-time group procurement program for residential solar installations in the SF Bay Area ( Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano & Sonoma) GOAL: To reduce the confusion of “going solar,” making the process simple and affordable. How? Pool the buying power of homeowners. Provide a vetted contractor selection. Provide a technical advisor to answer questions. Help homeowners reduce their long-term utility bills. Make it easy to reduce our carbon footprint and support larger community sustainability goals.

Vote Solar Non-profit organization working to bring solar energy into the mainstream through policy development and advocacy. Who’s Participating?

6 Solar Installer Selection Process Step 1: Vote Solar issues the Request for Proposals to local, regional & national solar firms Step 2: Evaluation committee of representatives from participating partner agencies review proposals Installer selection based on experience, resources, longevity, equipment, warranties, customer service, financing options & pricing discounts Step 3: Committee to select one or more contractors to provide services through Peninsula SunShares

7 Peninsula SunShares – Employer Outreach Promote the program using Internal Communication channels: Email blasts, intranet, newsletters, Salesforce Chatter, etc. Achieve your employee engagement goals. Invest in employees well being outside the office. Leverage the collective action of employees to help achieve community clean energy goals

8 Next Steps for Interested Companies Express interest in conducting outreach Confirm with your CPAU Key Account Representative (or Lindsay Joye) by Feb. 26 CPAU shall make introduction to the Vote Solar team Company shall identify internal communication channels and receive approval to use them.
