3. CBUC/CSUC: Who we are? A non profit public organization established in 1996 Composed of the: 12 public universities of Catalonia the national library of Catalonia the Catalan government universities and research department 60 associated members 2013 CBUC merged with a supercomputing consortium and form CSUC (consortium to provide services to universities). Now CBUC is a division of the CSUC

4. What does the CBUC do? Provides services that could not be achieved individually: CCUC Interlibrary loan Warehouse to conserve printed books and journals with low use Generates savings by economies of scale In cataloguing Interlibrary loan Sharing infrastructures
