Announced at GHRSST Meeting in 2008 Developed by consortium managed by Space ConneXions consisting of Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, University of Leicester and Met. Office. First Operational version released December 2008 to establish operational service before the end of the DUE Medspiration. Successful transfer from DUE to Operational service.

Bug fixes Version 1.3 Corrected reported inconsistencies with GDS1.7 and issues with Metadata. Addition to read AOD and SST Analysis. Version 1.4 Different ancillary data for archive processing. Version 1.5. May 2009. Fixed all known GDS issues + pixel co-ordinates. Note: Version 1.5 Lat/Long is referenced to the centre of the pixel, instead of the edge. Now different from Medspiration product.

Products start/stop at ANX Includes all historical ATSR-1 and ATSR-2 data in L2P format Includes all historical AATSR data plus new data as generated at UK-MM-PAF (approx two weeks after acquisition). Archive L2P does not include AOD nor SST Analysis at this point.

August 1991 to now. ESA copy held at UK-MM-PAF Identical version of L1, L2 archive at NEODC, RAL for use of UK users. Currently missing all data from ATSR-2 Regional Mission (June 2003 onwards). All products gzip compressed. L1, L2 approx 70 TBytes compressed. L1, L2 also available on request from ESA on LTO4

Rapid reprocessing if necessary (All three ATSR missions in one month).
