3. Journal Entry #1  I can’t believe he did this to me! I have trusted him, I loved him! My own brother helping this man betray me… how foolish of myself to fall for this man. My life is over … I will make sure men pay for this! I can’t believe everything is ruined all my hard work.. My money! 4. Journal Entry #2  Adopting Estella is one of my best ideas! I have sent for someone to pick her up, she will grow up to break men's hearts, and teach them all a lesson, men are worthless, and unneeded, I hate them… they deserve nothing. I am sorry if I have hurt you, I do not do it on purpose its just that I am so hurt that it even hurts to see people around me happy, I know I need to let the wedding things go but I can not if I do I will finally have to forgive him and I can not I am so sorry.  Dear Estella, I am so proud of you. 8. Newspaper Article Local and successful local Brewer’s daughter left at the alter just minutes before her wedding with who she thought was the “love of her life”. She was not only left at the alter but she was also left penniless her ex fiancé and her half brother had been planning on getting only her trust to take her money. Being left is enough to turn someone crazy literally, Miss Havisham was reported to have been seen in her wedding gown days after being left. It rumors to say she still has what was suppose to be the wedding feast decaying on her dinning room table. It has also been rumored that she is wanting to adopt a little girl, to plan her revenge on the male race.

Personal Reflection  Miss Havisham is what I think that made Pip to strive to become better in life, if it wasn’t for her pushing Estella Miss Havisham’s adopted daughter to make Pip fall in love with her. But because they are both from different social classes Pip feels the need to become a gentleman to even have Estella take notice in him and Miss Havisham is the enforcing the who social class thing, she is also the one encouraging Estella to break guy’s hearts the same way hers was broken by her ex fiancé when she was left at the alter only minutes before the wedding.
