Cell phones Cell phones are used to talk and now are used as mini computers. You can download APPS The APPS let you use mail and play games You can download stuff like videos and pictures You can upload stuff on social media

Dangers with Cell Phones Getting text from someone you don’t know Sending rude texts Taking embarrassing pictures of yourself Receiving bad/inappropriate pictures of other people Talking to people on your phone that you met online and don’t know Bullying people in social media

Be Safe with your Cell Phone Have rules you follow with your parents: When you use your phone-Don’t use late at night What APPS you have permission to download What websites you visit Show your parents texts from people you don’t know Don’t give out your cell phone number to people you don’t know Don’t take bad pictures of yourself Keep your private/personal information secure

Good Cyber Safety Rules I will tell my trusted adult if anything makes me feel sad, scared, or confused. I will ask my trusted adult before sharing information like my name, address, and phone number. I won't meet face-to-face with anyone from the Internet.
