7  Expected date of availability: Spring 2010  Grades/Ages: 4 th -6 th grade  In development by: University of Vermont This nutrition education curriculum uses a wide variety of experiential activities to help youth recognize healthful foods within each MyPyramid food group, taste new foods, explore the similarities of foods, and develop an understanding and appreciation of different cultures.

8  Expected date of availability: Summer 2010  Grades/Ages: 6 th -8 th grade  In revision by: University of Minnesota This environmental science curriculum will focus on water conservation, energy use, climate change, recycling, natural resource stewardship and air quality.

9  Expected date of availability: Summer 2010  Grades/Ages: 9 th -12 th grade  In development by: University of California- Davis This water conservation curriculum will explore the natural water cycle, the human interventions that affect water quality and quantity, analyze the interface between rural, suburban, and urban interventions in the hydrologic cycle, and culminate with the identification and implementation of service-learning projects that will address local water conservation issues.

10  Expected date of availability: Summer 2010  Grades/Ages: 6 th -12 th grade  In revision by: Purdue University This revised entomology curriculum will increase science literacy using insects and their relatives as the learning vehicle. Youth will learn critical thinking skills by using insects in crime scene projects, develop integrated pest management activities in their homes and in their schools, and find ways to manage insects without pesticides.

11  Expected date of availability: Summer/Fall  Grades/Ages: 6 th -12 th grade  In development by: Kansas State University This curriculum will provide with opportunities to engage in hands-on learning focused on understanding, analyzing and creating solutions to contemporary environmental challenges. These challenges are explored with the interrelated contexts of the impact on the environment, economy, and social justice.

12  Expected date of availability: Fall 2010  Grades/Ages: 4 th -12 th grade  In development by: University of Nebraska- Lincoln (lead university) This curriculum will focus on basic physical science concepts related to robotic systems, the scientific inquiry process, the engineering design process, technology tools used for learning and communications, and the exploration of SET careers. It will provide an on-line space for youth to experiment with robotic components and programming using virtual tools and robots, will guide youth through the engineering process using everyday objects found in the house or school, and will permit youth to apply the engineering processes of designing, building, and programming using several widely available educational robotics kits.
