8. The FIDE group (pronounced "fee day") will be having the first official meeting with Central Catholic this Monday, Oct. 26. If you would like to attend, meet in G15 at 2:40. We will walk to Central together. FIDE ("fee day") stands for Faith, Integrating, Daily Exploration. This group provides an opportunity for Oakland and Central Catholic students to discuss and explore how we can live out our faith in our daily lives.

9. The Science Fiction Fantasy Club will be meeting on Tuesday October 27th after school in Ms. Day’s room. The theme this week is Halloween! As always, everyone is welcome and there will be food!

10. If you are a freshman and thinking about playing basketball this season, plan on attending open gym with Freshman Coaches Phibbs and Truschel. There will be a Freshman ONLY Basketball Open Gym on Thursday, October 22, 3:00 – 4:00

11. LAST CALL.... If you ordered a hard case through the Oakland site you MUST pick it up this week. Any cases not picked up after Friday will be sold first come first serve.

12. The Anatomy Club will meet on Tuesday, October 27th at 2:45 in the Lecture Hall. New members are welcome!

13. Month 2 of our Instagram contest is underway! This time your theme is "Picture with an Eagle" [any eagle]! Be creative! Rules to qualify: 1. You must be following OC on Instagram @ochseagles 2. 15. All are invited to join us for morning Mass at 7:20 on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays we have started Communion Services led by Senior Eucharistic Ministers. The Communion Services also begin at 7:20.
