2 Senate Bill 1642 –Accountability Revisions Schools only graded on components with data (minimum of 10 students) Report all school grade components as percentages, worth a maximum of 100 points Report A-F grades based on percentage of points earned (e.g., 70%, 80%) Revised Acceleration and Learning Gains FY2015 Grades did NOT include Learning Gains

3 Percentages of total points needed: 62% and above= A 61% - 54%= B 53% - 41%= C 40% - 32%= D 31% and below= F

4 Keys to Remember Middle School Acceleration Denominator Includes 8 th graders who in the prior year scored Level 3 FSA Math, Alg. 1 or Geo. EOC Students who have attained Industry Certifications High School Acceleration (same as FY 15) No EOC Banking from Middle School Prior Year Graduates in Acceleration Denominator At Least 1 Successful Accelerated Outcome in HS AP, IB, AICE, DE, IC Learning Gains Increase Level Level 1 Divided in Three Sub-levels Level 2 Divided in Two Sub-levels Improve Sub-Level (L1, L2) Increase 1+ Scale Points (L3, L4)
