Recommendations Recommendation 1: ColegauCymru should look to support colleges in Wales via a centrally coordinated mobility project via Erasmus+, as a follow up to the current Leonardo da Vinci project. 11

Recommendations Recommendation 2: Colleges should consider formalising their international strategies, where that has not already occurred, so that internal and external stakeholders have clarity of direction and Recommendation 3: ColegauCymru and the British Council could support the colleges in Wales through the provision of a toolkit for colleges seeking to develop a formal international strategy 12

Recommendations Recommendation 4: ColegauCymru should continue to work in concert with counterparts in the other regions of the UK to alert policy makers to the issues facing FE as a consequence of UK immigration policy. 13

Recommendations Recommendation 5: Individual colleges should consider opening up discussions with established HE partners with regards to creating compelling joint offers to specific international markets defined by their combined niche offer. 14

Recommendations Recommendation 6: Colleges seeking to build a commercial portfolio internationally should consider identifying niche areas of expertise and, in the first instance, exploring the best approach to marketing this expertise with the British Council. 15
