Head of gold - Babylon Daniel 2:37-38 You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; 38 and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold.

The legs of iron and feet partly of iron and partly of clay – Roman Empire Rome is not named, but we know from history that Rome followed Greece. Rome began as a republic, but became a kingdom in 31 BC (Octavian, aka Augustus Caesar)

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

The Kingdom was at hand in the 1 st century. According to John the Baptist – Matthew 3:2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” According to Jesus – Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” – Mark 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” – Luke 10:9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ Mark 9:1 And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.” Mark 9:1 And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.”
