4 The Camping Committee Volunteer members Promote Camping program of the Council to our Scouting Units Develop the Camping Budget to operate the Council’s 3 Camps Design the Program to be delivered at our Council’s Camps Work with other Council Committees and the Order of the Arrow to implement the total Scouting program in the Council.

6 Camperships Charles A. Yarris Campership Fund – Provide financial assistance to help youth members attend Camp – Designed to aid Scouts who are active in their Unit and participate in fundraising activities to help earn their way to Camp but cannot earn the entire Camp fee. – Applications are accepted for youth attending any Council Resident Camp. – Deadline for applications is April 13, 2015. – Applications are reviewed by the Council Campership committee.

7 Camp Service Project Program Packs and Troops May earn a $10.00 discount per each participant in a one day service project at Eberly Scout Reservation Complete an approved project (8 hours of service) in one weekend. Council will provide camp site at Eberly Scout Reservation for 2 nights and tools, materials and project direction. Complete a Service Project Registration form at least 30 days before your requested date.

15 Buck Run Registration Process Pack Cub Camping Coordinator completes a site reservation form for the Session that the Pack would like to attend. ( if that has not already been done) Pack Cub Camping Coordinator collects the deposits and completes paperwork due by March 6, 2015. Campership applications due by April 16, 2015 to the Council Service Center The Balances of Camp Fees are due by May 8, 2015.

16 Buck Run Camp Fees Weekend Camp-$110.00 for Cub Scout, $55.00 for Parent Cub Scout Camp for Wolves and Bears-$180.00 for Cub Scout,$140.00 for Leaders over the free amount Webelos and Arrow of Light Camp-$225.00 for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts, $140.00 for Leaders above the free amount.

Leader fees: – 1-16 Scouts = 2 free adult leaders – 17-24 Scouts= 3 free Adult leaders – 25-32 Scouts= 4 free Adult leaders – Beyond 33 the ratio stays the same Additional Leaders are $200.00 for the week.
