7. 4 Types: Local = Example: burns on skin from corrosive chemical Systemic = Internal exposure and damage; Example: lead poisoning Acute =Short-term; usually reversible damage Chronic = Prolonged exposure; long- term effects; permenant damage All types may be immediate or latent
