4 Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to..... 1. Produce rich media projects combining text, graphics, audio and video. 2. Plan a project for navigation. 3. Develop interactive mixed-media projects 4. Identify appropriate media assets for the chosen delivery platform. 5. Gather and Manage assets effectively. 6. Integrate multiple media types into a project. 7. Take responsibility for their role in a group project. 8. Identify and allot key roles in a mixed media production.

7 Indicative Syllabus: Section 2. Simple Navigation : weeks 3-6 Making Buttons Laying out for Navigation - Markers and Time-line Exporting and displaying finished movie - swf/online or projector/standalone? User Consideration / Usability

8 Indicative Syllabus: Section 3. Programming fundamentals, planning and testing: weeks 5-8 Syntax and Semantics of the code - how to read. Manipulating object properties - beginning writing Planning code - writing an algorithm - developing Pseudocode Listening for events - mouse and keys Triggering actions from events - mouse and keys Planning a Project: what questions to ask and how to listen - Client focused
