3 If I use a pendulum that weighs less, then it will increase the period of the pendulum.

4 The problem was “How does a period of a pendulum increase?” It was hypothesized that if I use a pendulum that weighs less then it will increase the period of the pendulum. The procedure follow was,first I tie the pendulum to the string. Then I tape the string to the table. After, I lift the pendulum attached to the string about 90 degrees west. Right after I let go of the pendulum I start the stopwatch. Finally I record my results and continue the procedures for every trial. It was concluded that the when a pendulum weighs more the period of a pendulum increases. The results of my experiment did not support my hypothesis.

13 My results was that the more the pendulum weights the more the period of a pendulum increases. The first trail average 1.373333333333333 grams. The second trail average of pendulum is 2.17 grams. The average of the third trail pendulum is 2.976666666666667 grams.

14 What I investigated was that if you put more or less weight on a pendulum then it will increase the period of a pendulum. The hypothesis was not supported by the data. My major findings were that the more weight put on the pendulum it will increase a period of the pendulum.

15 My project can apply to the real world because in clocks it uses pendulums to tell the seconds, so it will be helpful to the people with clocks that have a pendulum in it to tell the time. Also to the people who build those clocks.
