2 Electron Transparency Condition 2 For 150 µm wire at 4.7mm pitch, the field ratio is 1.22. Electron transparency condition requires that the E field below an induction wire plane be ~22% stronger than that above. Because of this, the passage of electrons after an induction plane is narrowed by 22%. These are low field region, and electrons have a longer path, resulting in delay in arrival time. When the induction wires are staggered with respect to the collection wires, the drift lines are directly above the collection wires, and the drift time is the fastest.

6 OR 6 If the X wires (red) are offset by ½ pitch with the G wires, more electrons are nearly above the collection wire and arrive quickly. No electrons are right between two X wires.

7 OR 7 If the X wires (red) are aligned with the G wires, more electrons are in between two X wires. Their drift paths are longer, and passing through the weak field region, causing greater arrival time dispersion.
