2 2 Why is it? The position exists to introduce the trainee to all aspects of hotel operations and in particular, the systems, procedures and philosophies of the Intercontinental Hotels Group. The Traineeship also includes structured supervisory experience, which exposes the trainee to the skills of people management and forms the basis for further development. The aim is to develop managers of the future for your hotel.

4 4 How it Works – Program Framework On-the-Job Training Training & Development Performance Management Succession Planning Recruitment 18 months program, in different functions including HR, FO, HSKP, S&M, F&B, Fin (Sample program in Toolkit) Recruit as Level 8 (Service associates/Supervisor) according to the candidate’s experience and background 1-2 levels up upon successful completion of the program depending on performance (Performance management and succession planning) Current system integration- On Boarding, Training & Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning Specialized Process in areas like recruitment, orientation, on-job training Orientation

5 5 On-the-Job Training Training & Development Performance Management Succession Planning Recruitment Chinese Nationality A relevant Degree/Diploma in preferably Hotel, Commerce or Business Management Minimum 6 months experience in hospitality or a service industry environment Strong customer service orientation Effective communication skills Consistently striving to learn and apply skills and knowledge Self motivated, shows initiative and flexibility Mobility English proficiency Excel/Word operation Recruitment
