3 Don’t worry! We will help you step by step? What is the difference between a complete sentence and a fragment?

4 A complete sentence has two parts called subject and predicate. The s ss subject is what or whom the sentence is about. The p pp predicate is the part that shows action and tells something about the subject.

5 Here are some examples… So you know what to look for in a complete sentence In this sentence… The bicycle needs new tires. is the subject is the predicate In this sentence… The old dog chewed her bone. is the predicate is the subject

6 Let’s get rolling! Here is a sentence : Here is a fragment : Rita eats breakfast every morning. Eats vanilla ice cream. Where is the subject????? This is only the predicate!!!! This is only the predicate!!!! Here is another fragment : A hairy dog. Where is the predicate????? This is only the subject!!!! This is only the subject!!!! Who eats the vanilla ice cream?
