Scatter Plot - A graph that relates data from 2 different sets. - To make a scatter plot, the 2 sets of data are plotted as ordered pairs. Example Hours of TV watched/dayTest Scores 289 572 388 Ordered pairs are:(2, 89) (5, 72) (3, 88 )

Correlation Positive correlation No correlation - In general, both sets of data increase together - Sometimes data sets are not related Negative correlation - In general, one set of data decreases as the other set increases

A trend line shows the correlation more clearly.
