Baby years A baby chimpanzee stays with its mother until it is 7 to 8 years and drinks from his mother until he's about 5 years. When the baby is born it clings onto the breast of his mother. The baby chimp can stand by 6 months. The chimp is born with a red face and a white hair tuft on its backside. The baby chimp is carried by its mother on her front side for a period of between three and six months. As the baby grows it begins to ride on the mothers back. Baby chips are weamed between 4.5 and 5.5 years.

Childhood The chimp stays with its mother for 7-8 years. When the chimp is 14 it goes through the phase of being able to have a baby.

Adulthood The size of a chimpanzee is 170 cm. For a female they would be 130 cm tall and weigh 45-80kg. The dad stays with the Mum to create and look after the babies. You only have to be 14 to create a baby in chimp years. A Chimpanzee shares 98.4% of a humans dna and there life cycle is almost the same as a humans. The baby drinks from the Mums breast until they are 7.

Reproduction You only have to be 14 to make a baby but I guess in chimp years that will be older. When the baby comes out it comes out the same way as a human would your rear end. The baby is extremely cute and drinks from the mothers breast. It can leave its mother between the age of 7-8.

DEATH  Chimpanzee’s can die naturally or another animal killing it. Its life span is 50-60 years. There predators are humans and leopards. I hate to see things die especially animals. But it is the circle of life and eventually everybody will die.

Habitat Millions of chimpanzees used to live throughout equatorial Africa from southern Senegal through Central Africa to western Tanzania. This is an area almost the size of the United States. Today, there are estimated to be 170,000- 300,000 chimpanzees left in Africa, and their population is decreasing rapidly.

Threats Chimps threats are habitat loss and hunting for bush meat. Another one is illegal trade which is extremely illegal.
