23. Recommendations 1.Keys of Success: Choosing the right and suitable technologies through the implementation phase. Close supervision during implementation. Monitoring, verification of saving and reporting of findings. 2.Building capacity: training of the technical staff in the municipalities to be able to expand this experience to include new buildings, streets and pumping stations in the future. 3.Public awareness campaigns for local community to explore the possibility of applying the energy conservation measures related to the private buildings. 4.Roll out to the rest of municipalities in the West Bank and Gaza to implement energy efficiency projects with external or self-financing. 5.Encourage the implementation of “Energy Efficient Building Code” and “Guidelines for Climatic Design”. 6.Strengthen the Coordination between related agencies to further promote energy savings and improve saving measures. 23
