4
Identifying the Problem

Research Plan What information do you need to help you complete this project? Think of 3 questions you need to answer before you can design and make your video. Where did you find your answers? What are the answers? Importance (High to Low) Questions I need to askLocation of informationWhat did you find out?
6
Look for 3 examples of a product like the one you will make. The examples can be a video, poster or leaflet. Paste a picture or video of each product you found Say what the picture is showing i.e. a magazine advertisement for Coca Cola Explain how it appeals to the target audience i.e. it uses slow classical music to make you feel sad Research Part 2

Design Brief
12
Design Specification Success Criteria – How I will make sure my video is successful Function: Production: Testing:
13
Design Drafts Create a storyboard for your video Draw a timeline for each scene. Below the drawing write an explanation for what is happening in the scene. Add times to show the length of your video and where each scene will start. Add a description of the videos techniques you will use for each scene.

Part C - Creating the Solution

Project Plan Create a Gantt chart to show the time it will take you to create your video. You will to make a list of all the things you will need to do/include in your video (for example – download music, add text, film people playing sports). StepLesson 1Lesson 2Lesson 3Lesson 4Lesson 5Lesson 6

Design Journal Create your video using iMovie. The video must: Follow your storyboard – but it is ok to change it if needed Be 60-90 seconds in length Contain video footage, pictures, text, speech and music Document how you created your video in a design journal. Screenshot your work as you go. Type an explanation of what is being shown in each screenshot. The design journal should include a page showing each thing you did i.e. downloading and editing music / filming your friends / inserting video clips into iMovie.
21
ADD YOUR FINISHED VIDEO HERE My Finished Video

How I Changed my Plan Complete the table below Show which steps of your project pan changed Write a sentence about why you changed the time in you plan StepPlanned TimeActual TimeWhy it changed
23
My Design vs My Final Product What did you change? Why?
24
Part D - Evaluation
25
Testing My Questionnaire Create a questionnaire to collect feedback about your video. Ask 5 (minimum) questions about your product. Give it to your friends and find out what they think. Paste your questionnaire into this page when you have finished. Don’t forget to delete the teachers writing!
26
Testing Questionnaire Feedback Name of intervieweeFeedback – What did they like/dislike about your video?
27
Testing – Generating Data What did you learn from your questionnaire? 1.Choose 2 questions from your questionnaire 2.Use the information you gathered to create a chart showing the responses from each of your chosen questions (2 charts) 3.Add a sentence for each chart explaining what data is being shown
28
Thinking About Improvements Changes I would like to makeReason for change
