1 Diversity and Difference Section 1: Diversity in Ireland

2 Aims of this section 1.Present the findings of a survey on the range of diversities reflected in school and/or your local/national community, focusing on data in relation to differences and similarities in ways of life, customs and worldviews. 2.Research examples of diversity in Irish society in the past and present, focusing on one or more of the following: gender, age, family, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, social class, ethnicity, (dis)ability.

Using the information we filled in on our ID card we are going to complete a sample survey to represent the range of diversities in the class. (Group task). ApplyingCommunication Numeracy 3. Reflect on the data presented and what we have learned about diversity in Ireland. AnalysingDiscussion H/W: using the data we found in our survey we are going to present the data in a visual way in our learning portfolio (scrapbook). CreatingNumeracy Creativity
