5 1 Clarify the Content Why are we having this conversation? What themes will be meaningful? What is the best outcome we can imagine? Who needs to be here? Is the environment and time appropriate?

6 2 Create a Hospitable Environment Frame the invitation Arouse Curiosity Let people know this won’t be an ordinary conversation It’s about hospitality, conviviality and freedom – not formality or forced involvement

7 3 Explore Questions that Matter Focus on peoples interests and concerns Keep it simple Invite Inquiry and Discovery Frame the question as possibilities
