2 HISTORY  Northern Wake Senior Citizens Association formed in 1987  In May 1988 a building committee started regular meetings  The ground breaking ceremony was in May 1993  Building Construction was started in August 1993  Grand Opening in November 1995  General Purpose Room Addition 2010 2

3 OWNERSHIP  Town of Wake Forest owns and maintains the facility  Program Services is provided by Resources for Seniors Inc.(Council on Aging) of Wake County  Both Seniors and Non Seniors serve as advisory to the Board of Commissioners of Wake Forest 3

5 STATEMENT  Goal  To assist Wake county’s older adults to remain as independent as possible  Mission  To serve seniors and disabled adults by providing home and community based services and information 5
