DEFINITIONS LEAKAGE CURRENT (UL ): Electric current which flows through a person upon contact, between accessible parts of an appliance and (1) ground, or (2) other accessible parts of the appliance TOUCH CURRENT (IEC 60990): Electric current through a human body or an animal body when it touches one or more accessible parts of an installation or of equipment.
