SCAN TYPE: THE PATH OR MANNER IN WHICH A RADAR ENERGY BEAM OPERATES OR TRAVERSES IN A FREE STATE ENVIRONMENT. THERE ARE TWO BASIC CATEGORIES: SIMPLE AND COMPLEX.
