2. Tendinitis Tendinitis- inflammation of the tendon
Causes pain and tenderness near a joint
Also called tendonitis or tenosynovitis

3. Tendinitis Common forms of tendinitis:
1. Medial epicondylitis ( Golfer’s elbow, baseball elbow)- inflammation of the tendons connected to the medial epicondyle of the humerus
- caused by repetitive forceful wrist flexion and rotation

2. Lateral epicondylitis ( Tennis elbow)- inflammation of the tendons connected to the lateral epicondyle of the humerus
- caused by repetitive extension and rotation of the wrist joint

- caused by repetitive movement of the arm over the head
