5 STYLE Focus and Outputs Pragmatic sustainability tools that can be used by non-specialists After an initial survey of existing tools, most of the tools currently used in this scenario are in-house Excel based tools. STYLE has just completed industry-led cross- sectorial testing of a selection of these tools. The testing and further stakeholder input is helping to shape an Ideal Toolkit Specification. STYLE INTRODUCTION, 20TH APRIL - BRUSSELS

6 Technological impacts The SPIRE roadmap has goals for resource and energy efficiency improvements. The ‘technical’ calls aid development of technologies to make these improvements in the process sectors. The SPIRE4 projects aim to ensure that the sustainability impact of these technologies can be evaluated in a consistent manner, across sector boundaries and through value chains. STYLE INTRODUCTION, 20TH APRIL - BRUSSELS
