2 Overview A blended learning course consists of both traditional classroom and online instruction.

4 Five Components for Successful Blended Learning Best practices for blended learning include: The first session is live (summer orientation) Assessments are administered face to face. Multiple face-to-face sessions throughout term. Differentiated instruction and discussion strategies. Class size is limited.
