2 What is a Rainforest? 1. A dense forest rich in biodiversity, found typically in tropical areas with consistently heavy rainfall. The size football field is being destroyed each second. Rainforests are very dense, wet cold places.

4 Deforestation Deforestation is happening lots every year. About the size of a football pitch is burnt or cut down. Deforestation is clearing Earth's forests on a massive scale, often resulting in damage to the quality of the land. Forests still cover about 30 percent of the world's land area, but swaths the size of Panama are lost each and every year About half of the world's tropical forests have been cleared. There are many causes of deforestation. Deforestation is considered to be one of the contributing factors to global climate change.

9 Piranhas Back Piranhas have razor sharp teeth like a mini shark. They can bite through almost anything. Despite eating meat the nature of the piranha, the piranha is actually an omnivore and will eat almost anything that it can find. Piranhas mainly feed on fish, snails, insects and water plants occasionally eating larger animals and birds that fall into the water.

10 Anacondas  Anacondas live near rivers, lakes and swamps and like to live alone. back Water is their main escape method when confronted with danger. Anacondas eat amphibious animals, like frogs & toads, as well as fish, caiman, birds, ducks and turtles.
