Hebrews 2:1-4 Warning to Pay Attention 2 We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2 For since the message spoken through angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, 3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

What’s the point for me in 2012? Prosechó Culture- (Active Devotion) Pararreó (par-ar-hroo-eh'-o) Not Drifting Actually genuinely knowing God Miracles will accompany this life (vs 4)

Genesis 50:15-21 15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and pays us back for all the wrongs we did to him?” 16 So they sent word to Joseph, saying, “Your father left these instructions before he died: 17 ‘This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept.

18 His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him. “We are your slaves,” they said. 19 But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. 21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.

Pararreó Life (Anchored Life) Brothers are in fear they look to manipulation to secure their safety & future Joseph forgives & lives from Forgiveness... 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done...” Lives from a “Jesus perspective” Active Devotion “Father forgive them...”

Take Home Pack 1.Warning/Encouragement to the Church to Actively be Devoted 1. Personally live an “Anchored Life” 2.Look for the Signs & Wonders
