4 We’re One Tough Company  As an independent brand within the Atlas Copco Group, Quincy Compressor is part of the brand strategy.  We are 550 employees working to provide best- in-class, tough products to end users.  As a “product company,” we build products for Atlas Copco and are integrated in the Industrial Air (AIM), Airtec (AIF), Oil Free (AIF) and Compressor Technique Service (CTS) Divisions.  Our manufacturing operations comprise separate component areas to create, assemble and finish entire units for end users. Our customer service group, which is called a “customer center” coordinates the sale of these units through multiple channels.  Our indirect selling channels include independent distributors, OEMs, retail partners and online retailers. Quincy’s company stores are Direct customer centers. At the end of the day, we’re all one company focused on the end user of Quincy’s reliable equipment. Customers are ranked into 3 categories based on their responses…  Promoters - Loyal enthusiasts who keep buying from a company and urge their friends to do the same. (Scores of 9-10)  Passives - Satisfied but unenthusiastic customers who can be easily wooed by the competition. (Scores of 7-8)  Detractors - Unhappy customers trapped in a bad relationship. Detractors add to the cost of doing business financially and mentally. Detractors are also an opportunity. (Scores of 0-6)

For Comparison  Best in Class Net Promoter Scores  The scores, compiled by Satmetrix, based on polling 19,500 U.S. consumers about which brands they would recommend to a friend.  In 2006, Aggreko, a, a generator rental firm based in the UK, rated an NPS of 50. It increased in 2007 to 54 and then again in 2008 to 58. To put this in perspective, the average NPS in the USA recorded by Fred Reichheld in his book; “The Ultimate Question”, was just 10.
