3. Teacher: Let us remember that Jesus has been with us today as we tried to practice God’s Law of Love. Let us listen to his message for us this evening. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you -John 15:12 Students: Dear God, thank you for loving me so much Teacher: Your Son, Jesus, ask us to love others as much as he loves us. 5. Afternoon Prayer Teacher: Let us take time now to talk to God before we leave for the day. God is with us at all times and blesses us this day. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you. Students: Thank you, God, for your blessing this night. Teacher: Lord, watch over us and fill us with your grace. Students: Thank you, God, for putting your love in my heart. Teacher: Let us now pray to God our Father… All: God, our loving Father, we are glad to give you thanks and praise because you love us. With Jesus we sing your praise. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. – Psalm 103:8 Students: Dear God, fill my heart with your love and care. We want to remember it, to speak it, to keep it in our hearts. All make a small cross on their forehead, lips and over your heart. Teacher: Le us now talk. All: You have been with us in everything we did today and you will be with us in everything we do this evening. Thank you God!

12. Teacher: Let us remember that God has given us the sacrament of Eucharist, the gift of Jesus, who comes to us in communion and lives within us. Students: Thank you, God, for this special sacrament Teacher: We believe that in holy communion, we receive you, Jesus the Bread of Life. We believe that you are the real bread come down from heaven for us. Amen. Student: As I prepare for this sacrament, Jesus, please fill my heart with your love.
