In 2001, HR in partnership with The City of Calgary Emergency Medical Services, the first health clinics were offered. EMS began to test cholesterol for High Density Lipids (HDL) and Total Cholesterol at the clinics in 2002. In 2003, a nutritionist was also on hand to provide nutritional information and body fat analysis. Feedback from the clinics in both 2002 and 2003 showed there was interest in having glucose testing include. This was implemented in 2004.
