 KIOSK is the best service, as many have claimed, interactive kiosks are perhaps the proof of the pudding. Combining ease and sophistication, they are fast becoming a style statement for companies that want to impress their customers. Plus, as is the case with all self-service mechanisms such as KSRTC, Railway, Airline and Hotel.

 Computer kiosks can store data locally, or they can retrieve data from a remote server over a network. Kiosks can be used to provide information, which is great when it comes to e-governance, or for facilitating online transactions, or collecting cash in exchange for commodities (your basic vending machine).Praesent hendrerit tincidunt metus. 4  We have inherited a proud tradition of public service dating back almost to the foundation of the State. We are continuing to build on that tradition of public service and transport expertise to give Kerala a bus and coach system of which we can be justly proud of. The prime essentiality, the prompt methodology and the ship shape vigour of KSRTC is why our dedicated public has betrothed to our service.  It has two parts –  KSRTC Reservation  Private bus service

 KSRTC has been on the round the clock endeavor for the betterment of their resources. They have been ascending the flight of fame and popularity by providing only the paramount for their customers and well wishers. The maestro of transportation and comfort aims at the safest and the most secure.

 At last KSRTC has implemented bus route numbers for city services in Trivandrum. Earlier the bus routes were written only in Malayalam and most of the boards were difficult to read. Also people from outside and tourists had a tough time finding the bus to their destination.  KSRTC operates around 1522 distinct city services. All these services have been given numbers. The bus route numbering starts at 101 and the last number is 999.

 The journey must go on. The KSRTC has appellation for the caravan of peace and the movement of comfort. The all round winner of travelling for travellers. The show goes on, the fire beams on KSRTC. The fiasco of a journey and the frayed tempers of voyagers trade in to make the diamond core of the institution. The hurry burry life of a mechanical person often needs to be hit on the hue. KSRTC's insistence on pursuing a single-point effort has indeed proven the gamut of its customers.

 To provide a reservation system that efficiently serves more than half a million people each day.  Ensure maximum uptime so reservation / ticketing/inquiry application is available 24x7.  Create a Web site that can accommodate more than one million hits per day.

 Reservation system Indian railway reservation system is based on OLTP( online transaction processing).  The application has been designed as an open distribution system, so that the data and transaction volume can be segregated between multiple host sites.  Software conforms to open standard.  Hence, it can be interfaced to other applications like airline reservation system, hotel reservation system etc.
