Algebra 1 Section 6.3 Solve and graph compound inequalities A compound inequality is form by combing two inequalities. A new born calf should weigh greater than 40 lbs and less than 70 lbs. Nontypical bears weigh either less than 100 lbs or more than 400 lbs.

Write and graph the inequality A number is at least six and no more than ten. A number is less than nine and greater than two. A number is less than two or more than eight.

Solve and graph 8 ≤ x + 4 ≤ 13 13 ≤ 5x + 3 < 28

Solve and graph 2x + 7 < 3 or 5x + 5 ≥ 10 -2x + 5 17

The number of times a cricket chirps per minute is based on the equation C =.5T + 8 where C is the number of chirps per minute and T is the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Write a compound inequality for the temperatures where the number of chirps range from 20 to 60 chirps per minute.
