The Common Requirements for Quality  An air navigation service provider shall have in place a quality management system which covers all air navigation services it provides according to the following principles.  It shall: (a)define the quality policy; (b)set up a quality assurance programme; (c)provide evidence of the functioning of the quality system; (d)appoint management representatives to monitor compliance; (e)perform reviews of the quality system and take remedial actions.  An EN ISO 9001 certificate, issued by an appropriately recognised organisation, covering the air navigation services of the provider shall be considered as a sufficient means of compliance.

Note: Irrespective of which scenario is chosen, in order to demonstrate compliance with the requirements on quality management, the ANSP should ensure that: The scope of the QMS covers the air navigation services provided; Compliance is achieved within the required timescale of 2 years, after entry into force of this regulation.
