1.Proper Noun
The name of a particular person,
place or thing is a Proper noun. All Proper nouns start with capital letters.
EXAMPLES:-
Sachin is a great player.
Jaipur is a pink city.
Ramayana is a holy book.

7. 2.Common Noun . The names of things in general is Common noun.
EXAMPLES:
Birds fly in the air.
There are books in my bag.
Water is useful for us. .

8. 3.Collective Noun
The name given to a group of things is Collective noun.
EXAMPLES:
Our team won the match.
Indian army fought bravely.
A herd of cows is grazing.

The word used for material of which things are made is called Material noun EXAMPLES:-
The chair is made of wood.
The cup is made of gold.
Black-board is made of cement.

10. 5.Abstract Noun Poverty is a great curse. Beauty is to see.
Something you cannot see ,hear, touch or taste is called Abstract noun.
