Overview WHO – Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu WHERE – Between City of Oxnard & Point Mugu State Park WHAT – Shoreline Protection Project Rock revetment repairs & enhancements; Road repairs; Building relocation; Dune replenishment & recontouring. WHY – Protect mission critical infrastructure/operations Prevent damage from coastal flooding and storm events Replenish sand dunes and improve habitat Prepare and plan for managed retreat WHEN – Start construction in 2016 2
