4 Maghreb Virtual Science Library Funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Oceans Environment and Science Will support all Maghreb countries Objectives 1.Promote regional and international collaboration 2.Enhance access to scientific information throughout the Maghreb 3.Increase international visibility of national research 4.Leverage new technologies to support collaboration

6 Students, faculty and researchers at Moroccan universities have access to the following subscription-based journal databases:

8 JSTOR is a not-for-profit archiving service for academic journals Content is available in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences Multidisciplinary and disciplinary specific archive collections There are about 200 journals in the growing current collections database Content dates back to 1665 Full-text access to all articles 1,980 titles

10 HINARI is a World Health Organization program that provides online access to the major journals in biomedical and related social sciences AGORA is a Food and Agriculture Organization program that provides access to a digital library collection in the fields of food, agriculture, environmental science and related social sciences OARE is a United Nations Environmental Program initiative that provides access to online resources in environmental science research Full-text access to content from major international scientific publishers 8,000 titles

11 Access to all of the journal databases listed above is to the full text of the articles within each collection. Students, faculty and researchers at Moroccan universities have access to the following open-access, free journal databases:

12 DOAJ is a service that provides access to quality-controlled open-access journals Open access journals use a funding model that does not charge readers or their institutions for access Peer-review quality control Research journals that report primary results of research Published regularly All scientific and scholarly subjects Full-text access to all articles Publications from academic, government, commercial, and not-for-profit organizations All content is free 6,000 titles
