1 HOW TO OPEN YOUR OWN COMPANY IN POLAND :) Step by step

2 STEP 1 Registration of the company at the Town Office you must start by folding reporting for the entry into the records of business activity (CEIDG-1) (It`s for free) must contain : - full name of the entrepreneur - business name (not obligatorily) - number PESEL of the entrepreneur - place of residence of the entrepreneur - business address - kind of activity - place of activity

3 STEP 2 REGON number at the statistical office.(Not obligatory. It depends from kind of your activity.) For the submission of an application you need: - photocopy of the certificate of entry in the Business Activity Register (original of documents available for inspection) - identity card Mainly it lasts one day but sometimes it can lengthen to 14 days.

4 STEP 3 The company bank account and the stamp It is obligatory to have a company bank account. It doesn't matter what kind of bank you will choose. A stamp with the Company's name should contain: - the full name and the company name - contact details of business premises - number NIP - REGON number

5 STEP 4 Revenue office - NIP and choice of the form of taxation. You must supplement the NIP-1 form. You must choose the form of taxation: - the general rules - lump sum of documented incomes - flat rate tax - 19% income tax - value added tax (VAT)

6 STEP 5 National insurance contributions in ZUS. You must supplement some forms. The business activity is subject to insurance: - pension - social security - resultants - health - voluntary insurance - sickness benefits If you are recruiting staff, additionally you are paying: - ZUS contributions for employees - contributions for the labour fund - contributions for the Fund of guaranteed fringe benefits

7 STEP 6 Application for the National Labour Inspectorate. If the employer employs the employee or employees, within 30 days from the date of the employment must notify the competent labour inspector of the National Labour Inspectorate and a competent national health inspector in writing of the place, the kind and the scope of conducted activity and the number of employees.
