2. Family Values Resource Institute, Inc. (FVRI) is a organization that provides educational and counseling programs in predominantly urban areas to empower families with resources, skills, and principles for generational prosperity.

With our founding program, The Women’s Help Center, we serve hundreds of women each year by educating them with information, resources and a message of life-affirming hope through the challenging times of unintended pregnancies. This includes pre-natal courses in our Earn While You Learn program for mothers and fathers to gain credits to spend in our Baby Boutique filled with baby items.

5. The Family Empowerment Center which began as a couples’ ministry by Charles and Barbara Thomas II provides faith- based marriage and pre-marital counseling, customized parenting courses presented for churches and community organizations, and faith-based support groups for various life circumstances.

6. The New Heights Career Development Center, which features the Scotlandville Adult Learning Center, has grown from an option for young ladies who have dropped out of high school because of an unintended pregnancy to a distinguished High School Equivalency and career development program serving both men and women of the community to enhance their career options to provide for their families.

7. The Shining Stars Youth Development Center (coming soon), which began as an after-school character education program, will feature early childhood learning care, after-school and summer enrichment programs that will build an early foundation of life-long learning and family support, including convenient child care options for parents enrolled in the New Heights Career Development Center.
