Take Action. Get Results.

… our mission is to support the best student experience at The University of Western Ontario. To help students, faculty, and staff at Western and people in our community fulfill their educational goals and life potential, we are dedicated to providing products, services and information for their academic, professional, social and cultural needs. The Book Store is service driven and revenues support student services, facilities, and programming. Our Mission…

Timesaving Tip When you submit an online order, you will get an automatic confirmation that your order was received. You will also get an email listing the items that you have ordered for your records. Please include your Administrative Assistant’s name on the online order form, so that he/she will have information about your adoption. Order your course materials online at www.bookstore.uwo.cawww.bookstore.uwo.ca

Textbook Adoptions Each title requires significant time to check edition status, stock availability and on-hand inventory. About 10,000 unique book titles are ordered for each major semester. Ordering takes time.

Each term 1000s of campuses want the same course materials at the same time. You can determine who gets their books first by ordering early. Students want to buy books early: during Student Academic Orientation, new students ask us for their booklists. Textbook Adoptions Why so early?

Buyback –When you order early, you enable our students to sell their textbooks to The Book Store for use in the next term. Used Books for Sale –Students buy used books and save 25% off the original price. Textbook Adoptions How can we help students save money on textbooks?

Price Matters The Book Store at Western sells textbooks at the publisher’s suggested list price. Students care.
