6  Population: 824,082  State Law Enforcement (Highway Patrol/DCI)  65 County Sheriffs  75 City Police departments  Of the above, 75% of the population is covered by RMS/JRS provided by two venders (New World and Zuercher)  Remaining 25% have off the shelf report storage, locally developed system or other RMS/JMS provider.

7  Variety of Records Management and Jail Management systems.  Information in silos, with important information unavailable to other agencies.  Inability to effectively participate with evolving ISE capabilities (N-DEx, NSI)  Time intensive for investigative searches of other agency contacts with suspects.  No security standard for PII, confidential information exchange & storage

8  Information sharing across agency regardless of disparate geographic location or current RMS/JMS system through Connect SD hub.  Participation in N-DEx and NSI.  Secure data with appropriate access controls.  Protect privacy/civil liberties of our citizens.  Low cost solutions utilizing national standards.  Improved investigative search capability.  Statewide system with local control (Chiefs/Sheriffs/DCI/Highway Patrol)
