We need to channel Jesus’ strength to carry our own responsibility for our actions 3rd Station: Jesus Falls for the First Time→ No one stopped the pain and burden for Jesus, he had to continue on. What does that feel like for us when we must perserve?

When have we hidden things from our parents out of fear→ this gives a distorted reality 5th Station: Simon helps Jesus carry His Cross→ being forced to help, or an opportunity to serve? Compassion or selfishness 6th Station: Veronica wipes the face of Jesus→ How do we see others? Do we see the image of God in their faces?

We need grace and integrity to make our promises a reality 8th Station: Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem→ When have we listened to God’s word in our life? The women recognized Jesus and weeping for the reality they are witnessing 9th Station: Jesus falls a third time→ When do we continue on when our body fails us? How does this unite our body, mind and spirit? Or do we allow our body to win over our spirit? How does this connect to sin?

10 10th Station: Jesus is stripped of his garments→ almost a relief, it is about to be over but the worst is still to come. When have we felt this in our life? Jesus is made to endure embarrassment. When have we judged people for the way they look? 11th Station: Jesus is Nailed to the Cross→ the physical pain Jesus endured. How have we been able to face pure physical pain? Mind over matter? 12th Station: Jesus Dies on the Cross: “It is finished”
